Type specimen: UWBM 98645, a shell. Its type locality is DV 611a-1, Cerro Poroma, which is in a Burdigalian coastal sandstone in the Chilcatay Formation of Peru.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer
Distribution:
• Miocene of Peru (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
