Sister taxa: Charnia gracilis, Charnia grandis, Charnia masoni, Charnia siberica, Shepshedia palmata, Blackbrookia oaksi
Type specimen: No 6456/1978. Its type locality is Leicestershire, which is in an Ediacaran marine mudstone in the Bradgate Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: stationary upper-level epifaunal osmotroph
