Type specimens:
- Liaobatrachus grabaui: GMV 2126, a partial skeleton (relatively complete skeleton). Its type locality is Sihetun, lower Yixian (general), which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale/siltstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
- Callobatrachus sanyanensis: IVPP V11525, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton). Its type locality is Sihetun, lower Yixian (general), which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale/siltstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Sihetun, lower Yixian (general)
