Type specimen: M8621, Zhejiang Museum of Natural History, a skeleton (a nearly complete but compressed skeleton). Its type locality is Near Hejiaxin village, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine shale in the Yixian Formation of China.

Distribution:
