Type specimen: Holotype USNM 123572, paratypes USNM 123573a,b. Its type locality is quarry of the Medusa Portland Cement, Rock River, Dixon, Lee County, which is in a Blackriveran marine wackestone in the Mifflin Formation of illinois.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder-detritivore

• Carboniferous of United States (1: Montana)

• Ordovician of United States (2: Minnesota, illinois)

Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
