Type specimen: NHMUK R14153, a mandible. Its type locality is Mount Ilatarda area, which is in a Maastrichtian marine horizon in the Farin-Doutchi Formation of Niger.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Mount Ilatarda area
