Sister taxa: Cybeloides (Paracybeloides), Cybeloides calliteles, Cybeloides cimelia, Cybeloides girvanensis, Cybeloides iowensis, Cybeloides loveni, Cybeloides parrotti, Cybeloides prima, Cybeloides spinifera, Cybeloides virginiensis

Type specimen: GSC 44309, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is District of Mackenzie Bathyurus granulosus zone, which is in a Chazyan carbonate limestone in the Sunblood Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at District of Mackenzie Bathyurus granulosus zone
