Type specimen: BSPG 1972 XVI 323, a mandible (left lower jaw fragment with p4-m3). Its type locality is Kleineisenbach, which is in a MN 7 + 8 terrestrial marl in Germany.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore

• Miocene of Germany (3 collections), Hungary (1)
