Type specimen: CNU-OD-NN2004040, an exoskeleton (Basal wings, thorax, 4 abdomen segments). Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2004 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2004 collection)
