Sister taxa: Sinokaratawia gloriosa, Sinokaratawia magica, Sinokaratawia prokopi

Type specimen: CNU-OD-NN2004058, an exoskeleton (Wings attached with body). Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2004 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2004 collection)
