Type specimen: USNM 116527, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Loc. 8, Greenmount Church area, which is in a Turinian carbonate limestone in the Oranda Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Loc. 8, Greenmount Church area
