Type specimen: USNM 137685, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Loc. 4. Field northeast of VA-639, ΒΌ from junction with US-11, 0.7 mile southwest Strasburg, which is in a Blackriveran carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
