Type specimen: USNM 137687, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Loc. 3. south side of road, 0.2 mile east of Strasburg Junction, which is in a Turinian carbonate limestone in the Edinburg Formation of Virginia.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Whiterockian of United States (3: Nevada collections)
• Ordovician of United States (1: Virginia)
