Belongs to Vitisma according to P. Vršanský 2005
Sister taxa: Vitisma coriacea, Vitisma diffusa, Vitisma occidentalis, Vitisma okata, Vitisma rasnitsyni
Type specimen: PIN 4306/185(188), a forewing. Its type locality is Sharin-Gol (bed 350/6), which is in a Barremian terrestrial horizon in the Sharin-Gol Formation of Mongolia.
Ecology: fast-moving arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Sharin-Gol (bed 350/6)
