Sister taxa: Vitisma diffusa, Vitisma occidentalis, Vitisma okata, Vitisma orientalis
Type specimen: PIN 3064/3522, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064, bed 31), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl/siltstone in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology: fast-moving arboreal herbivore
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of the Russian Federation (5 collections)
