Type specimen: NZGS DC 143, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Wharekuri Creek, which is in a Duntroonian offshore shelf sandstone in the Kokoamu Greensand Formation of New Zealand.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Wharekuri Creek
