Type specimen: FMNH UC684, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton). Its type locality is Coal Creek, 28 (Waggoner Ranch Formation), which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian terrestrial limestone/shale in the Waggoner Ranch Formation of Texas.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Coal Creek, 28 (Waggoner Ranch Formation)
