Type specimen: CM 41705, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Arroyo del Agua, which is in a Wolfcampian terrestrial horizon in the El Cobre Canyon Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Arroyo del Agua
