Type specimen: Science Museum of Minnesota, a forewing (incomplete forewing). Its type locality is Wannagan Creek Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian mire/swamp shale/shale in the Bullion Creek Formation of North Dakota.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Wannagan Creek Quarry
