Type specimen: 918-P, DGM DNPM, a partial skeleton (head and mandible). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: nektonic durophage-carnivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general)
