Type specimen: USNM 90579, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Florissant (Wilson coll), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Florissant (Wilson coll)
