Belongs to Saperda according to F. Vitali 2015
Sister taxa: Saperda densipunctata, Saperda florissantensis, Saperda lata, Saperda robusta
Type specimen: Vitali FS61S2, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Rio Blanco County (Vitali collection), which is in an Uintan lacustrine - large mudstone in the Green River Formation of Colorado.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Rio Blanco County (Vitali collection)
