Type specimen: MCZ 2278, a set of vertebrae (posterior thoracic vertebra). Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Thomas Farm
