Type specimen: NMW 98.30G.5, a shell (dorsal internal mould). Its type locality is Locality 550a - Kaskol Bed, East of Bolshoi Kaskol lake., which is in a Katian carbonate limestone in the Tauken Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
