Type specimen: GLAHM A18542a, b, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is south bank of Penwhapple Burn immediately south of the power-house, which is in a Sandbian offshore siltstone/conglomerate in the Balclatchie Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at south bank of Penwhapple Burn immediately south of the power-house
