Type specimen: USNM 416051, a shell. Its type locality is Cerro de Muleros, which is in a Cenomanian marine grainstone in the Boquillas Formation of New Mexico.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of United States (2: Montana, New Mexico collections)
