Type specimen: PMU M3004, a mandible. Its type locality is Xigou (Hsi-Kou), Xintaixian (Hsin-T'ai-Hsien) County, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Guanzhuang Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling browser

Distribution: found only at Xigou (Hsi-Kou), Xintaixian (Hsin-T'ai-Hsien) County
