Type specimen: AMNH 13263, a mandible (Lower jaw). Its type locality is Quarry A (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry A (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
