Type specimen: LIEB-PV 1252, a maxilla (right maxillary fragment with P3–M3). Its type locality is La Barda, Paso del Sapo, which is in a Lutetian fluvial tuff in the Andesitas Huancache Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore
