Type specimen: Amer. Mus. No. 27893, a mandible (part of left lower jaw with M1 and M2). Its type locality is Bajo de la Palangana (upper levels), which is in a Riochican terrestrial sandstone in the Las Flores Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial omnivore
Distribution: found only at Bajo de la Palangana (upper levels)
