  • Aelurognathus microdon: SAM-PK-9344, a skull. Its type locality is Klein Bloemhof, Richmond, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in South Africa.

Ecology: planktonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Permian of South Africa (4 collections)
