Type specimen: IVPP V17803.1, a tooth (Left M1). Its type locality is Huheboerhe escarpment (IM-1), which is in an Eocene fluvial sandstone in the Irdin Manha Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Huheboerhe escarpment (IM-1)
