Type specimen: MNHN.F.R63100, a shell. Its type locality is Blaye, ancienne carrière de l’Octroi (Gironde)., which is in a Bartonian marine horizon in the Calcaire d'Octroi Formation of France.
Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer
Distribution:
• Eocene of France (2 collections)
