Type specimen: LACMIP 40374.79, LACMIP Type 14936. Its type locality is CSUN Loc. 374, Las Llajas Canyon, which is in a Lutetian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Llajas Formation of California.
Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer
