Type specimen: NHMM-PW 2005/2, a skeleton. Its type locality is Klauswald at Odernheim, which is in an Autunian terrestrial shale in the Meisenheim Formation of Germany.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Klauswald at Odernheim
