Type specimen: FMO MOI-02, a maxilla (right maxilla with P2/-M3/). Its type locality is Molinier, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial horizon in the Castrais Formation of France.

Ecology: ground dwelling frugivore-folivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of France (4 collections), Switzerland (1)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
