Type specimen: ROM 61414. Its type locality is S7 locality, Tulip Bed community, Fossil Gully, Mount Stephen, which is in a Delamaran deep-water shale in the Burgess Shale Formation of Canada.
Distribution: found only at S7 locality, Tulip Bed community, Fossil Gully, Mount Stephen
