Sister taxa: Diacalymene consimilis, Diacalymene lesperancei, Diacalymene schucherti, Dekalymene crassa

Type specimen: UA 8282, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Fauna j, Section AV2, Delorme Fm., Mackenzie Mts., which is in a Whitwellian slope limestone/shale in the Delorme Formation of Canada.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Whitwellian of Canada (5: Northwest Territories collections)

• Silurian of Canada (3: Northwest Territories)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
