Sister taxa: Sinocybele amarus, Sinocybele baoshanensis, Sinocybele gaoluoensus, Sinocybele kassini, Sinocybele kazakhstanensis

Type specimen: AM F115294, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Currajong Park Homestead, which is in an Eastonian deep subtidal shelf siltstone in the Gunningbland Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Currajong Park Homestead
