Type specimen: UA 9872, a cephalon/head (crandium). Its type locality is Section AV3 060m, Avalanche Lake, which is in a Telychian offshore shelf limestone/shale in the Whittaker Formation of Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution:
• Silurian of Canada (3: Northwest Territories collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
