Type specimen: BPBM 166013, 176387, a set of limb elements (right tibiotarsus). Its type locality is Hane Dune site, early phase, Ua Huka, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in French Polynesia.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Hane Dune site, early phase, Ua Huka
