Type specimen: IANCP.PN/WNP011.PA/1.2003/500, a limb element (left humerus). Its type locality is Pindai Cave A, testpit 3, which is in a Holocene cave horizon in New Caledonia.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Pindai Cave A, testpit 3
