Belongs to Caipirasuchus according to A. G. Martinelli et al. 2018

Sister taxa: Caipirasuchus montealtensis, Caipirasuchus paulistanus, Caipirasuchus stenognathus

Type specimen: CPPLIP 1463, a skeleton (almost complete skeleton). Its type locality is Fazenda Três Antas (lowermost level), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian alluvial fan sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Fazenda Três Antas (lowermost level)
