Belongs to Ricnodon according to Fritsch 1883
Sister taxa: Ricnodon dispersus, Ricnodon trachylepis
Type specimen: CGH 232, a partial skull. Its type locality is Nyrany, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine coal in the Kladno Formation of the Czech Republic.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Nyrany
