Belongs to Ricnodon according to Fritsch 1883
Sister taxa: Ricnodon copei, Ricnodon dispersus
Type specimen: CGH Orig. 95, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Nyrany, which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine coal in the Kladno Formation of the Czech Republic.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Nyrany
