Belongs to Archivesica according to K. Amano and S. Kiel 2007
Sister taxa: Archivesica gibbera, Archivesica gigas, Archivesica knapptonensis, Archivesica marincovichi, Archivesica tschudi
Type specimen: UCMP 55517, a shell. Its type locality is Sitkalidak Island, which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in the Sitkalidak Formation of Alaska.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Sitkalidak Island
