Type specimen: MCH-P 164, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with p4–m3). Its type locality is Hualfin Valley (Villavil and Puerta de Corral Quemado), which is in a Huayquerian terrestrial sandstone in the Chiquimil Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Hualfin Valley (Villavil and Puerta de Corral Quemado)
