Type specimen: JUY-P-0351, a mandible. Its type locality is Maimará (lower section), which is in a Messinian fluvial sandstone in the Maimará Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Maimará (lower section)
