Type specimen: Its type locality is Belted Range, Carrara Fm, Red Pass Limestone Mbr(USGS 4437-CO), which is in a Delamaran lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Carrara Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: fast-moving epifaunal detritivore
