Type specimen: MSC 35048, a tooth. Its type locality is ADl-1, Dale County (NP13), which is in a Ypresian coastal siliciclastic in the Tallahatta Formation of Alabama.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of United States (6: Alabama, Mississippi collections)
Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
